Meet immediate needs, then compare careers and choose a job you understand, including its pay for a completed shift.
Start with needs, choose a job and reserve unavoidable costs. The opening loop is keep needs green → Phone → Jobs → Go to work. Background, city, home, skills and current conditions determine which actions are available; optional upgrades can wait.
Check Hunger, Energy, Fun, Social, Hygiene and Bladder. Use fridge/cooker, bed and shower; Chowdeck delivers food. Idle base losses per game hour are 5.5, 4, 4.5, 3, 3.5 and 7 respectively. Energy 50→40 takes 2.5 unchanged idle game hours. Traits, rewards, sickness and night multiply decay; activities have separate effects. Starting furnishings differ by home.
Phone → Jobs covers 33 careers. Tech uses Coding at CcHub: 09:00 start, eight defined schedule hours, Monday–Friday and 9,900 gross per completed Intern shift. Attendance, wage policies, bonuses and tax change credited money.
Use Go to work when eligible, or the game's automatic option. Automatic work still checks schedule, workday and character conditions. A full work action advances 60 game minutes. The schedule hours scale the shift’s effects. They are not your hourly take-home pay.
LAPO adds 60,000 cash and creates 72,000 debt with 12,000 weekly dues: six full payments without adjustments. Manual repayment needs the full due or whole early-payoff balance. Automatic repayment checks after seven game days, from 10:00. With 10,000 cash against 12,000 due, cash stays unchanged and a 1,200 penalty changes 72,000 debt to 73,200.
Find the destination among 136 venues; check city, listed hours and any time gate. Local quotes use one city and six modes: Trek, Keke, Danfo, Okada, Cab, Your car. Scarcity, subsidy, Cab peak and total wealth can alter fares; intercity prices are separate.
A move uses two adjusted rent weeks plus one agreement fee. Mushin base rent 2,400 gives 4,800 advance + 2,400 fee = 7,200, prepaying 14 game days. Its 16,000 starting cash is not a move charge. Retain money for needs, travel and repayments.

On a normal day the payout is income minus operating costs, rounded to 500 game Naira. A bad day loses the stated amount instead. Tax and other account effects come off separately. The horizontal scale is logarithmic, so a small business and a large one can sit closer than the naira gap. The range is not a guaranteed daily return.

A useful stopping point is knowing how to meet needs, understanding your selected job and keeping enough cash for the next unavoidable cost. A house upgrade or intercity trip is optional. Progress depends on your character's actual conditions rather than completing every menu. Check your character's current needs.
Wages and every naira amount in Lagos Life are balances inside the game. They cannot be withdrawn to a real bank account. Use salaries, loans and business figures to plan game decisions, keeping enough for food, rent and travel; a larger game balance does not represent real-world income.
