Lagos terms used in Lagos Life

Find the context

Look up the venue behind a name

Use a location record to connect a term with its city, area and listed hours.

Recognize twelve local game terms in homes, food, travel and social actions. Match the displayed name and city, then use the surrounding explanation to choose an action. These names and fictional game Naira are part of Lagos Life, not real-world service bookings.

Amala Shitta and Shitta: locate the venue

Amala Shitta is the Surulere food and social venue. Shitta is part of that name, not a second destination. The venue is known for amala, gbegiri and ewedu. Those sides are not separate actions: the dish you choose has the price, the quantity and the effects.

Danfo and keke: choose an actual travel mode

Danfo and Keke both use base 100 + 5 per game-map kilometre, then applicable fuel/subsidy/wealth modifiers and rounding. Their subsidy is mode-specific. Trek, Okada, Cab and Your car differ; flights/coaches/intercity driving use separate prices. Game-map coordinates and descriptive travel rates are not real routes or arrival guarantees.

NEPA: read the power context

NEPA appears in electricity context. Home help recommends generator or solar; a tip advises backup power before interruptions. Check actual home power and the powered action you want to queue.

Quilox and Owambe: distinguish a place from a trait

Quilox is a venue; check its hours/access. Owambe appears in party vocabulary and Owambe Spirit, whose idle Fun factor is 1.3; party activity effects have separate conditions. For a house party: buy Party Speakers → Throw a House Party; Phone → Invite shares a link. NPC and real-player menus differ.

Face-me-I-face-you and UNILAG: read the record

Mushin's Face-me-I-face-you lists rent 2,400, initial cash 16,000 and guest limit 3. A later move costs two adjusted rent weeks plus one agreement fee: 7,200 at base tier. UNILAG appears in venue/home names, including the hostel; match the actual entry and city.

A home and a map venue can share a familiar name. Rent, starting cash, the guest limit and whether you can only reach it by moving belong to the home. Opening hours and map coordinates belong to the venue. Use Houses for a move and the map for a visit.

Lagos Life Isakaba: use the exact game label

Isakaba is not a career, a reward, a venue or a travel mode. Use the name on the action, item or place in your game.

Listed venue hours and the dedicated game time gate are separate. No dedicated hour gate does not guarantee entry.

Game Naira at the listed game-map distances in kilometres

Game-map distance in kilometres · Estimated local fare in game Naira

Normal fuel, no subsidy, off-peak Cab, and the base wealth tier. Keke and Danfo follow the same fare curve. Your own car uses the Toyota Corolla’s fuel rate. Scarcity, the fuel subsidy, Cab peak hours, your total wealth, and whether you own the car change the fare.

Frequently asked questions

Should I translate these names when I look them up?

Keep the spelling Lagos Life uses for Amala Shitta, Quilox and UNILAG. Read the description in your language, then match the label and the city in the game. Similar words or real-world place names do not necessarily identify the same game venue.

Do these terms describe real-world services?

They provide context for a fictional life simulation. A venue label, a rent amount or an electricity reference in Lagos Life is not a booking, a real fare or a real income claim. Use the game's current controls for game actions. Confirm the selected in-game action.
