Lagos Life money and business guide

Protect your next week

Reserve rent and repayment money before investing

Compare a completed-shift income with your move target and the next loan payment. Keep essential spending separate before buying a business.

Plan fictional game Naira around work, needs, rent, travel and existing debt. A wage, business purchase price, normal payout and loan balance serve different purposes. Compare those amounts before you buy something optional.

Make a repeatable work plan first

A Tech Intern is paid 9,900 gross per completed shift over five scheduled days: 49,500 before modifiers. Attendance, wages policy, star wins, degrees and tax affect credited cash. Active work totals 60 game minutes; Tech's eight schedule hours do not make its pay hourly.

Separate a move target from recurring expenses

At multiplier 1, Mushin rent 2,400 gives a 7,200 move target: 4,800 advance + 2,400 fee, prepaying 14 game days. Initial cash values—Mushin 16,000, Yaba 36,000, Lekki 104,000—are separate from move charges. Reserve recurring food, travel and debt costs.

Treat the LAPO start as borrowed cash

LAPO adds 60,000 cash: an existing 16,000 becomes 76,000. Debt starts at 72,000 with 12,000 weekly dues; six full payments clear the original balance without penalties. The 20 percent principal difference is a total cost, not an annual rate.

Know what happens when a payment is short

Manual payment needs the whole current due, up to 12,000 or the smaller balance; early payoff needs the entire debt. With 10,000 cash/72,000 debt, no arbitrary partial payment occurs. Automatic checks run after at least seven game days, from 10:00: a 12,000 shortfall preserves 10,000 cash, adds 1,200 debt (72,000→73,200) and advances the payment-day marker.

Compare business costs with normal payouts

Phone → Invest lists Recharge & Data Kiosk 150,000, Zobo & Chapman Stand 300,000 and POS Stand 500,000 purchase prices. Normal payouts subtract costs, then round to 500 game Naira: ranges 500–3,000, 2,000–6,000 and 3,000–9,500 respectively, before separate tax/account effects.

Leave room for bad days and useful supplies

The kiosk has ten percent bad-day chance and 2,000 loss. Reserve repayments/rent before investing. Mama Gold Rice: 550 for four stock units, 137.5 each. Gino Tomato Paste: 100 for three, about 33.33 each. Pack quantity is separate from need restoration.

Hours in the defined job schedule span · Entry-level game Naira per completed shift

Eight careers, compared by entry pay for a completed shift and the length of the schedule. That span is not a countdown and not hourly pay. A full work action advances 60 game minutes, and the schedule length scales how the shift hits your needs and performance. Go to work shows whether you can start and how the shift is going.

Listed purchase price and weekly rent in game Naira

Listed purchase price in game Naira, logarithmic scale · Numbered property

The purchase price is twelve weeks of rent times the property’s tier multiplier, then rounded to two significant digits. The horizontal scale is logarithmic, so a cheap home and an expensive one can sit closer than the naira gap. Another player’s asking price can differ, and Rentals has to be open on your account.

Normal-day game Naira after operating costs

Normal-day game Naira payout, logarithmic scale · Numbered business

On a normal day the payout is income minus operating costs, rounded to 500 game Naira. A bad day loses the stated amount instead. Tax and other account effects come off separately. The horizontal scale is logarithmic, so a small business and a large one can sit closer than the naira gap. The range is not a guaranteed daily return.

LAPO borrowing and repayment

Frequently asked questions

What is the fastest guaranteed way to get rich?

These comparisons do not guarantee wealth or a fixed daily profit. Begin with a job you can actually use, budget for needs and transport, and keep a repayment reserve if you borrowed from LAPO. For a business, compare purchase cost, operating costs and bad-day risk instead of choosing only the largest normal-day figure.

Will the LAPO loan replace my starting money?

No. LAPO adds 60,000 to the cash you already have and creates an original 72,000 debt with 12,000 weekly payments. A 16,000 starting balance would therefore become 76,000 before other spending. The higher cash total still includes borrowed money, so reserve repayments rather than treating the full balance as disposable savings.

Can I repay only the cash I have left?

A manual scheduled payment needs the full amount due; it does not accept your remaining cash as an automatic partial payment. An automatic shortfall can add a penalty while leaving insufficient cash untouched. For example, a missed 12,000 payment can add 1,200 to debt, so review the current loan balance and payment timing.
